Windsor Association

The “Asociación Cultural Educacional Windsor del Perú”, is a private entity incorporated in the Republic of Peru and registered under electronic entry 0184594 at the Companies Registry at the Public Records Office of Lima and Callao; it is the promoter of Colegio Peruano Británico, a private school.


Ms. Alwyn Robinson (MBE),was born in Hadfield in the county of Derbyshire, United Kingdom and studied to be a teacher at Hereford College of the University of Birmingham. She founded the Colegio Peruano Británico, is Chairwoman of the Windsor Association and is a respected educator both nationally and internationally, for which she was awarded an MBE (Member of the British Empire). She has also been awarded the Palmas Magistrales - Educador, a decoration bestowed by the Peruvian Nation on teachers who have made outstanding contributions to the country's culture and education. The Municipality of Metropolitan Lima has recently awarded her the Medal of the city of Lima in recognition of her meritorious professional service and personal qualities.

  Ms. Alwyn Robinson (MBE)

Jorge Power Manchego-Muñoz, attended primary and secondary school at Landschulheim am Solling, bei Holzminden, West Germany and Santa Maria School, Lima, Peru. He studied Law at the Madrid Universidad Complutense in Spain. In 1990 he obtained his Ph.D. in Law  from the University of Valencia, Spain, graduating "Cum Laude", the highest qualification awarded by the university. He has been a university lecturer since 1980: principal lecturer at the University of Lima; He has taught at the Catholic University of Peru; San Martin de Porres University; and the Universidad Femenina de los Sagrados Corazones; he has conducted conferences at universities in Peru and abroad. Apart from his academic and teaching activities, he has been the Secretary General of the University of Lima and advisor to the Minister of Justice, and Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice. He has written books and essays on his speciality.

 

 

Martin James Robinson Knott ,was born in Lima, Peru and studied at Markham College in Lima. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Asociación Cultural Educacional Windsor del Peru since 1983, having held a  number of positions he is now treasurer of the Windsor Association.

He is responsible for the Association's international relations.

 

 

Directors of Colegio Peruano Británico

The management team aims to provide our students with the best education, as well as to satisfy parents' concerns and aspirations regarding their children's education.


Mr. Graham Crebbin, Headmaster, is a British citizen, professionally educated in the United Kingdom.  He was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the School of European Studies at the University of Kent at Canterbury and his Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Nottingham.  He has a wide range of international educational experience, having taught at Buile Hill High School in Manchester, England, the Lycée Paul Sabatier in Carcassonne, France, the British International School of Istanbul, St. Paul’s School, Sao Paulo and St. Hilda’s College, Buenos Aires.

As an Anglo-Peruvian bilingual school, Colegio Peruano Británico has a native English-speaking headmaster who has overall responsibility for the academic direction of the School, the recruitment of teachers from overseas, relations with the British community in Perú and  links with international institutions like the International Baccalaureate Organization.

 

 

El Profesor Augusto Gonzales, Director of the school, organizes the Peruvian academic programme and the integration of educational projects. He is responsible for the school's relationship with the Peruvian Education Authorities. He is a former teacher and was Director Santa María (Hermanos Marianistas); the Liceo Naval in San Borja, Lima and Colegio Prescott in Arequipa. He studied Pedagogy in Secondary Education at the Instituto Pedagógico Nacional (1969) and obtained his Bachelor and Master's degrees at the University of San Martín de Porres. (1997, 2002). He completed his Doctorate at the University of San Martin de Porres in 2008; and carried out postgraduate studies at the University of Lima (1981), Esan (1988), University Champagnat (1995), the Catholic University (2007) and San Ignacio de Loyola University (2008).
