ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

When you apply to Colegio Peruano Británico, our Admissions team will carefully consider your application, so we can make sure we can best accommodate your child and determine the right balance of support and challenge for their entry-point abilities, goals, and needs. 

As part of our admissions process, we will also ask for a few documents alongside your application form.
These include:
  • your child’s birth certificate
  • a colour passport-size photo of the child
  • a passport-size photo of the child’s father and mother

Schedule a meeting
Our Admissions committee will evaluate your child's application and documents while scheduling a family meeting with the school psychologist. For all students from 2nd Grade Primary onward, we'll also ask your child to take few assessments to best determine their needs and abilities.

Once we have your child’s results, we'll schedule your meeting with our National Director. In this meeting, you'll find out more about us and why we’re proud to represent the Colegio Peruano Británico as well as the Nord Anglia global family.

  • When can you apply to Colegio Peruano Británico? How long does the admissions process take?
    We consider each application on an individual basis; you can apply at any time because Colegio Peruano Británico accepts new students all year round.

    The timeframe should be no more than two weeks, from the moment you first contact us to the point when we consider offering your child a place at our school. However, it varies depending on how fast you wish to apply.
  • Are there assessments as part of the admissions process?
    Yes, for students from 2nd Grade to IB Year Two, we give an academic placement test and psychological interview.

    This helps us determine how to best support your child in adapting to our school, such as what they need to do to catch up or to move ahead, if necessary, since academic programmes differ from school to school and from country to country.
  • How will Colegio Peruano Británico ensure my child settles in quickly at school?
    For the needs of every age group in our school, we have a qualified team of specialised psychologists who provide personalised follow-ups for new students who enter Colegio Peruano Británico. Our specialists will ensure that your child is having a pleasant experience while they settle into our school.

    Additionally, through workshops and counselling, our specialists support all our students to develop their self-knowledge, to manage their expectations, and to encourage healthy interaction with their classmates.
