We start our days with different games and warm-up activities, so we get to know each other better and learn to collaborate. We discover ways of helping and learning from each other.

We read captivating stories and we role-play or act them out, so we can really understand what we’ve read and imagine what it feels like.

We have picnics in our school playground, where we enjoy sharing healthy lunches with each other and playing games.

We love learning in our outdoor spaces like our bio-garden as well as our science labs. Hands-on activities help us understand different scientific processes.

We gather across year groups in our multi-purpose hall around a specific theme, and we share how we have practiced our community values through a presentation, videos, or activities.

Whether it’s playing hockey, football, basketball, volleyball, or handball, we love running and playing, keeping active, and looking after our well-being.

We begin our day by focussing on our well-being. We stay up to date with our homeroom teacher and discuss topics like friendship, internet safety, consent, and community action. 

During our performing arts classes, we study musical composition and different dramatic genres through our innovative dance curriculum. We also work on artmaking for our annual arts presentation.

We enjoy catching up with friends over lunch and have some time to read, socialise, or play sports on our spacious patio before afternoon lessons.

In our Information and Communication Technology (ICT) classes, we enjoy practising and building upon a variety of different digital skills, including programming, web design, Photoshop, and 3D simulations.

We spend an hour to reflect on daily topics of interest and challenges in our lives, such as social networks, study habits, managing stress, or anxiety before exams. 

We train, get ready to compete, and represent Colegio Peruano Británico in several sporting competitions in Peru as well as at the international level in Nord Anglia Education’s annual Global Games.

We study the ‘Theory of Knowledge’, so we sharpen our independent thinking, inquiry, communication, and reflection skills, while exploring the essence of knowledge itself.

We can choose from a range of subjects in the IB Diploma Programme, and we continually link these studies with our personal interests and aspirations.

Whether it’s at lunch or on the sports field, we learn how to incorporate healthy choices into our diets, which we balance with weekly exercise and well-being activities.

In our English course, we research, critically analyse, and debate our classmates on topics of the world’s affairs and issues, as we consider our roles as global citizens.

With the structure of the ‘Creativity, Activity, and Service’ (CAS) component of the IB Diploma Programme, we learn how to be leaders who create meaningful experiences with communities, by helping locally based charities or helping the environment.

In the annual House Festival, we compete in sporting activities against the other Houses, motivating us to collaborate and work as a team to earn points for our House.
