At CPB, our Early Years curriculum spans Nursery, Pre-Kinder, and Kinder. With two bilingual teachers in every classroom, your child always receives personalised support and attention.

Our Early Years curriculum is designed to develop all areas of learning, tailored to the needs and abilities of each child. Through a variety of learning centres, our youngest learners have a range of experiences that stimulate their curiosity and critical thinking skills, while also encouraging their personal autonomy.

At CPB, your child will continue to explore and interact with the world that surrounds them, in academic and non-academic areas, further developing their research, communication, self-management, thinking, and social skills.
6 to 11 years old
Our Primary Curriculum at Colegio Peruano Británico
Our Primary curriculum is designed for each student to learn at their own pace through a variety of learning experiences, both in curricular and extracurricular activities. Our students study Spanish, English, French, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Visual and Performing Arts, Physical Education, Religious Studies, and ICT.

INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE (IB)

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) offers a holistic education that develops enquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people, empowered with the most vital life skills.
15 to 16 years old
Our IB Diploma Curriculum at Colegio Peruano Británico
The IB Diploma Programme is based on six subject groups: First and Foreign Languages, Humanities, Sciences, Mathematics, and the Arts, structured around a core comprised of Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS), the Theory of Knowledge, and an Extended Essay on a topic of the student’s choice. These subjects are taught in English and Spanish and lead to the Bilingual Diploma.

We begin with fun songs and games – expanding our vocabulary, exploring the weather and days of the week, and talking about what activities we’ll work on today.
SINGING AND WARMING UP
GROUP ACTIVITIES
We break up into small groups for games and interactive activities to explore shapes, numbers, colours, sizes and patterns; and then we rotate groups so we can have different experiences.
EXPLORING AND SENSING
HEALTHY LUNCHBOXES
With our classmates, we open our lunch boxes and discuss what we’ve brought to eat, as well as our knowledge of these foods and why we like to eat them.
CHATTING WITH FRIENDS
MOVEMENT AND RELAXATION
We have fun during different movement activities, as we develop our coordination and learn how to control our bodies. We also learn relaxation techniques with yoga, breathing exercises, and music.

Our time outside is fun and engaging, as we play with sand and water to discover the different properties of a solid and a liquid and their interaction.

We work on our dribbling skills with footballs as well as shooting into nets during basketball. We develop our control of speed with other games and sports, too.

We begin our day by focussing on our well-being. We stay up to date with our homeroom teacher and discuss topics like friendship, internet safety, consent, and community action.

During our performing arts classes, we study musical composition and different dramatic genres through our innovative dance curriculum. We also work on artmaking for our annual arts presentation.

In the annual House Festival, we compete in sporting activities against the other Houses, motivating us to collaborate and work as a team to earn points for our House.
